The trip
For 1 1/2 hr , you will sailing from Grand-Baie, the tourist center of Mauritius, up to an island call Gabriel Island which is situated about 17 kms north of Mauritius. On its way the boat will pass by a first island,the Gunner's Coin, huge whale-like mountain in the sea. Straw-tails birds, which is the symbol of the Mauritian aviation, had chosen its cliff as their nesting place. Groups of playful dolphins are often seen accompanying boats.
The catamaran will anchor between two small islands, Flat island on the left and Gabriel island on the right.
During the day you'll have barbecue party and drinks on board, live music animation, and you'll stay on a very beautiful uninhabited island for about 3 hours, doing snorkeling, sun bathing, or wandering around the island, admiring its wilderness

The timing
Meeting at least 15 minutes before boarding.
9:00 - Boarding
9:15 - Departure . Presentation , in the Bay of Grand Bay , of the crew members followed by a briefing about the boat and the trip . Alcoholic and fresh d rinks are served as per requirement during sailing toward Gabriel Island .
11:00 - Anchoring in the lagoon of Gabriel island .
Presentation of the surrounding environment followed by a transfer of passengers from the catamaran to the beach .
Swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling for guests. Cleaning of the catamaran and lunch preparation by the crew .
12:30 - Back on the boat for lunch. On the menu various raw and cooked salads . Griiled fish and chicken served with pasta, rice and bread. Banana flambé for dessert. Meal will be accompanied wine, rum or homemade punch. Vegetarian menu is available upon request. There will be live music session during lunch . After lunch, sega dance will precede resting time for the skippers
14:30 - Start moving back to Grand Bay .
16:00 - Landing in Grand Bay. End of the tour
