Description
Visit the north of Mauritius.
Port-Louis, Pamplemousse, Cap Malheureux, Pereybere, Grand bay, Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches
Mahe tour is a tribute to a young French couple from Marseille who were on holiday in Mauritius in 2010 asked us to organize this trip for them. By the end of the day, they were happy about the organization and suggested that we propose this tour on our website for other visitors.

Objective of this excursion is to turn back the clock to colonial time and walk in the step of French Governor, Mahé de Labourdonnais. We will visit the historical part of Port-Louis, its panoramas, market, caserns, fort, and Champ-de-Mars among others. Second visit will be at Pamplemousse which was an important village during colonial time. Pamplemousse is well known for its botanical garden and the oldest christian church of the island. We will then head to the north of the island, at Cap Malheureux, where English soldiers landed and defeated French troops by surprise and took over the island.
More relaxing afterwards, will be a stop at Pereybere which is our local Saint Tropez, Grand Bay which is the tourist centre of the island and other coastal villages such as Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches
Important:- Off North. Our tariff of 2000 MRU (approx. 50 Euros) concern only guests whose accommodation address in Mauritius is situated between Grand-Gaube village in the north and Albion village in the north-west of the island. From Flic-en-flac, in the west to Belle Mare in the east and for the south of Mauritius, an extra fee of 3,000 MRU (approx. 25 Euros) will be charged |
