Description
There are two possibilities for dolphin watch in Mauritius.
First, it can be done on a catamaran. This is a good way to do it for those who want a nice, relaxing sailing trip on the western coast of Mauritius. However dolphin cruise on catamaran has lots of limitations.
An exciting way to enjoy dolphin watching is by speedboat, where all chances are put on your side to meet and swim with dolphins.
We start the trip at around 8.00 am - 9.00. It can be either at Flic-en-flac, La Preneuse or at Black River where you will get on board our catamaran or speedboat.
Then we will head straight to where the dolphins are and you will be able to enjoy the view for a while. Those dolphins had chosen the western part of Mauritius as resting, hunting and breeding place because of the calmness of its lagoon. They are very sociable and there is always a possibility to swim by them!
After the dolphin watch, our skippers will bring you to interesting snorkeling spots beside the coral reef. Then directly to Benitier island where you will have barbecued lunch.
After leaving the island our skipper will show you the crystal rock and stop for a last snorkeling in our natural swimming pool, which is the most calm and beautiful lagoon of all around Mauritius.
If you are a group of person, best would be that you rent the speedboat on exclusivity and make it your personal excursion.
Option 2
Dolphin watch and snorkeling only ( without lunch)
Soft drinks and snorkeling gears provided.
Option 3 & 4
Exclusive rental of speedboat ( with or without lunch)
Private cruise. Dolphin watch, snorkeling, visit of crystal rock and pic-nic on Benitier island. Own hut on the island, barbecued chicken & fish, and salads for lunch. Blazed banana. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Snorkeling gears.
